AND a funny update, i show my aunt Agueda the picture and she freaksout because she really does resemble this woman. Agueda then tells me she had our maternal DNA analyzed and our family is actually mostly of North African origin. We knew from our spotty family tree that we had a long history of mixed heritage and genetics from Spain, Africa, the Canary Islands, Italy and France, since Cuba is a crazy melting post of dozens of cultures, but now the DNA proves it too.Maybe we’re related this lovely doppleganger of my aunt Agueda and I.
